Trump Calls Omar “Garbage” and Demands Deportation Amid Resurfaced Brother-Marriage Allegations

According to multiple sources, including a post from Libs of TikTok, Rep. Ilhan Omar is alleged to have married her brother so that he could become a naturalized U.S. citizen.

The Libs of TikTok post in question, dated 2/10/25, cited The Daily Mail and described it as a “bombshell revelation.” According to the source within Minnesota’s well-known Somali community, Omar reportedly vowed that “she would do whatever she had to do to get him papers.”

Sadly, widespread immigration and benefits fraud has been documented among some Somali immigrants in Minnesota, as previously reported and cited by Christopher Rufo.

This longstanding allegation—that Ilhan Omar married her brother for immigration purposes—continues to follow her.

Today, President Trump commented on the broader issue, calling Ilhan Omar “garbage” and renewing his call for her deportation.

In light of these allegations and many of her statements that critics view as disloyal, some now argue that the logical next step would be to make it illegal for naturalized citizens (or those born in foreign countries) to hold elected office.

We shall see whether more evidence emerges regarding these allegations against Rep. Omar and whether she ultimately faces deportation.
